Established in 1978, our expertise spans the construction industry spectrum, from smaller renovations to multi-million-pound projects. We can also now offer clients a "one stop service". Established as a family business based in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland, over the last 40+ years Dowds Group have grown into a national multi-disciplined building services and construction company.

We are now lead by 2nd Generation, MD James Dowds although ambitious and progressive, we’ve retained our family ethos. People are at the heart of everything we do - we pride ourselves on our positive company culture and impressive retention levels. Our dedicated staff with technical expertise, do things The Dowds Way, bringing solutions not problems.

What we do

Dowds Building Services

Specialising in the design and installation of complex Mechanical and Electrical Services, Dowds Building Services have built a solid reputation of delivering quality installations to our clients through precise consultation and consideration of their projects.

Dowds Construction

Dowds Construction offer main contracting services, specialising where technical and complex MEP forms a significant and critical element of the project.

Dowds Facilities Management

Dowds Facilities Management and small works division provides M&E and Building Fabric Maintenance Services directly to clients on both a planned and reactive basis with focus on planned prevention and maximisation of asset lifecycle performance.

Dowds Energy Solutions

Dowds Energy Solutions’ turnkey offer will help customers establish their current energy usage in detail, through energy auditing and analysis, identify solutions to reduce energy, design and install renewable technologies and where required source capex funding for clients.
