A fantastic opportunity to join H&J Martin as an Apprentice Fibre Operations Administrator working within the Fibre team, where we will help and guide you to learn and develop your skills within a supported environment in an organisation committed to your professional success.
As an H&J Martin Apprentice, you will fully commit to the off-the-job training (college) requirements of the post alongside your normal day-to-day job and you should strive to achieve the relevant qualifications that will enable you to demonstrate high levels of competence in your role.

Key Tasks:
The following reflect the main tasks associated with the position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:
Learn the company & client IT systems and how they work to ensure the smooth running of our operations.
Gaining knowledge of how our Fibre Operations work and input to delivery with our clients
Work with the management team to gain knowledge and understanding of project delivery and provide support across a wide range of systems and IT packages.
Carry out desktop surveys on the Fibre network design to determine what resource, plant & material is required to complete various tasks
Attend client (teams) meetings and provide reports on delivery progress
Assist with scheduling resource to ensure efficient delivery of works
Completion of information packs to report issues back to client for resolution
Assisting with collating and reviewing site operatives time records and day work sheets
Key Competencies:
Communication – Must possess the ability to be able to communicate effectively both oral and written with staff.
IT skills – Must possess strong IT skills across standard software packages.
Teamwork – Must demonstrate the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
Flexibility and Initiative – Must demonstrate a positive, flexible and self-motivated attitude towards this role and development including drive to successfully complete training
Work Completion – Must display the drive and determination to complete work effectively and on time.
