The Cedar Foundation
Who are they?
The Cedar Foundation's vision is for an inclusive society for all, and their mission is to support individuals and families living with disability, autism, and brain injury so they can live the lives they choose.
Who do they support?
They work with children and adults who have physical disabilities, brain injury, autism and learning disabilities.
How can they support employers?
Cedar Foundation will engage with your company to explore how you can work together to develop opportunities to support their participants and bring added value to your organisation. This can include job opportunities and work placements to support disabled people in developing skills and building careers. In addition, Cedar Foundation are happy to explore other ideas for collaboration, such as your Social Value objectives.
Who are they?
Disability Action is a Northern Ireland charity focused on practical support for disabled people. They provide advice, mentoring, and workplace solutions. They also work closely with employers, colleges, and skills providers to ensure disabled people can access opportunities and succeed.
Who do they support?
They support disabled people of all ages. This includes guidance, mentoring, confidence building, and skills development. They also involve families and carers, where helpful. Our focus is on clear routes from preparation into employment and apprenticeships.
How can they support employers?
They work with employers to hire and keep talent. This includes practical advice on inclusive recruitment and adjustments, disability awareness training for teams, and funded mentoring for apprentices and employees. They also link with colleges and skills providers to track progress and resolve issues early.

“As a small company, we don’t have the time to go out into the marketplace or visit schools. The matching process from Workplus ensures that fit, which supports retention.”
