HEAR from the employer...

“I started my career with Mannok as an apprentice and progressed to earn my degree in engineering. I’m now the Production Manager in the company’s PIR Insulation Plant.”

Gordon Wiggins
PIR Insulation Production Manager

I'm doing a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, it's a three-year course. I started in September 2022, so I am one year in. I go to South West College two days a week and then I work three days a week in Mannok. Sometimes I work Saturdays in Mannok as well.

I chose this Apprenticeship because I like fixing machinery and vehicles and it's how I spend a lot of my free time. I like the variety and learning, it's great to be learning on the job. At Mannock, the people are also great, we have a laugh while getting the job done.
