Who we are

WH Stephens is managed by seven Directors, each of whom are Fellows or Chartered Members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors / Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland. All of our directors are experienced in every aspect of modern Quantity Surveying / Project Management techniques. The firm employs over 60 staff operating from five offices throughout the UK and Ireland.

The management philosophy of the company has been embodied in the Firms "Quality Assurance Management Policy" which has been certified under ISO 9001.  This policy is constantly being examined and when appropriate updated thus ensuring that the best management techniques available are employed. The company’s directors are supported by Associates and Senior Surveyors who take the role of project team leaders for our various projects, depending on the sector and location.

What we do

WH Stephens offers a comprehensive construction consultancy service from project inception to in-use, with each professional service tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients.  Our specialisms include:

  • Quantity Surveying / Cost Management – As a core service, the practice provides a professional and proactive approach to all aspects of the Cost Management process from project inception to completion.

  • Project Management – By leading project teams WH Stephens has gained a wide range of experience and provides a service to manage and control the delivery of major projects.

  • Building Surveying – We provide a full range of Building Surveying services from condition surveys, maintenance and defects through to adaptations and refurbishments.

  • Principal Designer – in accordance with the current Health and Safety legislation, WH Stephens provides principal designer services to complement our core service offering.
