Job Description


·         Answering the telephone promptly, directing calls to the appropriate personnel and responding and directing emails as necessary in a professional manner.

·         Assisting the admin team with supplier invoice coding

·         Liaise with new and existing suppliers daily

·       Ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date

·         Preparation of new and existing account information  

·         Cover for other members of the Admin team for holidays, periods of sickness and other absence when required.

·         Attend all relevant meetings as required. Minute-taking may be required.

·         Any other duties, within reason and capability, to help assist with the admin team

Essential Criteria:

·         Willingness to learn and upskill

·         Studying or applying to study a Higher-Level Apprenticeship

·         Understanding of Health & Safety at work

·         Flexibility in working hours and strong adaptability skills

·         Good communication and teamwork experience

·         Willing to clean and maintain working area

·         An understanding of both written and spoken English

 

Desirable Criteria:

·         Previous work experience in a similar environment

·         The ability to read technical/construction drawings

·         Experience with hand / air and power tools

Description

The apprenticeship in business administration at level three offers work-based skills development for those interested in progressing their career in administration further with an industry-recognised qualification. Apprenticeships are a great pathway to consider over and above the traditional academic methods of learning, offering you the option to earn whilst you learn.

Entry Criteria

To eligible for the apprenticeship in business administration at level 3, you must be employed or be about to take up paid employment as an apprentice with a Northern Ireland based company for a minimum of 21 hours per week. 

The apprenticeship in business administration is open to those aged 16 -24 years who have attained the minimum school leaving age in Northern Ireland.
