Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leaders the successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of warehousing from operating fork lift trucks to ensuring customers receive their orders on time and to their exact specification.
You will learn how to manage stock and create computerised reports essential to ensure the smooth operation of a busy and efficient warehouse operation.
Main tasks of Job:
Off loading, receipt, storage and stock control of raw materials
Order assembly and preparation of goods for despatch
Loading collection vehicles for delivery
Data input of stock records and production of computer generated reports
Waste segregation and waste control duties
While the starting salary is £16,500 per year, this will increase as training progresses. We would expect successful candidates to reach full salary within two years of starting.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will be self motivated, capable of following written and verbal instruction.
They should possess good clerical skills and keen attention to detail.
As part of small but busy team, you should be reliable, willing to learn and have a flexible approach to task and time.
A minimum of Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent is essential.
Candidates should be computer literate and previous warehouse or retail experience would be advantageous.
