What would a typical day look like for you?
Providing support to a team of 10 professionals, you will be at the core of the business to ensure the administration and operational procedures run as smoothly as possible. A truly varied role, you will provide support to the Managing Director, General Manager and the wider business. Fantastic time to join a growing business as your experience and knowledge increases the role can develop to incorporate the skills you have learned.
Some of the responsibilities will be;
General business administration, learning accounting, payroll systems. Invoice management, coding and generating invoices, communicating with clients around fee payment, sending reminders and following up on slow payments.
Inputting timesheets and processing expense claims for the wider team
Coordinate meetings (in-person and hybrid), conference calls, travel arrangements (domestic), business lunches and dinners plus other adhoc events
General office duties: incoming and outgoing post, photocopying, archiving, ordering and maintaining stock levels in the office
Preparing documentation for suppliers and clients
Running and presenting necessary reports
Reconciliation of business costs such as car parking, contractors, office equipment
Other adhoc duties as required
Person Specification
Your skills:
You will enjoy working in a smaller team, with the ability to focus and self-motivate to complete tasks thoroughly. This business is well known and highly regarded, and your skills will be fundamental to the organisation’s success.
You;
Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems and processes.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proactively look for and take on tasks which will ensure the smooth running of the business
Enthusiastic, keen to learn and adaptable
Reliable, with a high level of confidentiality

£18k - £20 depending on experience
